Realizing that his country would never be able to scale traditional methods of treating those with mental health issues, Chibanda helped to develop a beautiful solution powered by a limitless resource: grandmothers. Coming from Zimbabwe and being able to see that people here are in need of help that they are not able to get or afford. So when hearing about this I felt comfort, that even though this is not fixing the problem, it is giving more people the opportunity to be heard and to seek the help they need.
